Weaving Dreams with Skill & Confidence

Coming from a small village in Bilaspur district, Diksha had just passed her matriculation in 2022 when she began searching for opportunities that could change her life. That’s when she discovered the Fashion Designer course offered under DDUGKY by Kailash Educational Trust through social media—and took a leap of faith by enrolling in November 2024.

Though young and unsure at first, Diksha quickly found her stride.

“Everything was provided to us free of cost—training in Fashion Designing, IT, English, soft skills, and even exposure through guest lectures and orientation sessions. Slowly, I began to open up… and that changed everything.”

Over four months of immersive classroom training, she gained more than just skills—she gained confidence, clarity, and courage.

Today, Diksha works as a Machine Operator at Auro Weaving Mills, Solan, and is steadily building her experience. But her dreams don’t end there—she aspires to return home and start her own fashion venture, creating local opportunities and designs that reflect her roots.

“There’s so much out there for us—if we truly work hard and chase our dreams,” she says, encouraging current trainees.

From a quiet village girl to a confident young professional, Diksha’s story reminds us that skill development isn’t just about jobs—it’s about unlocking potential.
